The Cutting Plane Tool creates a plane on one side of which the data are rendered and on the other side, the data are cut away. The wand then acts as a cutting plane which can be move throughout the data set as needed.

To use the Cutting Plane Tool, from the main menu select:

   3D Visualizer menu
      > Algorithms 
         > cutting plane

Then with the desired button select:

   > Tool Selection Menu 
      > Locator 
         > 6 – DOF Locator
